Born in Iwakuni, Japan and raised in Poulsbo, WA, I have experienced multiple cultures which has shaped how I view design. My father, who has a small shop inside his garage, was frequently tinkering on cars and electronics which deeply inspired me. My mother, who loves to carefully curate household objects, helped me appreciate high quality products. This spark in creativity and understanding beauty in everyday objects pushed me to pursue design. Outside of design you can regularly see me at the local skatepark or walking around shooting photos of objects that catch my attention.
